Massachusetts BAN on Vapes

Hi Friends!

I have done some research regarding the recent Massachusetts ban (per Gov. Baker) ....

A four-month ban on the sale of vaping products.

Many small businesses are in shock hearing this news. Societe Caponette states (owner of Worcester Vapor) with tears in her eyes.... “It’s devastating, financially devastating,” she said. “It’s all I have.” With thousands of dollars of products still on her shelves, Caponette said she has no idea what’s next. With no source of income, she fears she’ll lose her home. She also worries for her three employees — one of whom was homeless before taking a job at the shop.

"We have bills to pay, we have leases, rents to fulfill. We have mortgages, car payments, every day living expenses,” she said, adding, “I’m still in shock. I don't know how I could survive for four months with no income. I’ll be out there looking for a job.” This is devastating news for Caponette, as well as MANY other small business owners in MA. And perhaps more states to come!

So here is the deal with vaping.....

It MATTERS what you put INSIDE your vape pens.....it is not the PEN ITSELF.

I have been telling my customers for a long time now....READ THE INGREDIENTS!!!!!

KNOW what you are putting inside your body!!!!!!

Here is some interesting information for you....

Popcorn lung, a condition that can be caused by chemicals that flavor microwave popcorn (bet you never new that!!!!) and some e-cigarettes. The chemical that gave this condition its nickname is diacetyl. After workers at a factory that packaged microwave popcorn were found to have bronchiolitis obliterans more often than other people, some companies stopped using diacetyl as a flavoring. But it's still used in some electronic cigarette flavors in the US. Many e-cigarette makers state they aren't using this chemical in their products and its use in e-cigarettes is banned in Europe.

Another common cause is acetaldehyde, a chemical found in the smoke from marijuana and some electronic cigarettes. Acetaldehyde also can damage the lining of your mouth, throat, and stomach.

The chemicals found in e-cigarette liquid, known as "e-juice," may be a potential cause of popcorn lung. According to the American Lung Association, using electronic cigarettes or vaping, particularly the flavored varieties, can cause popcorn lung. ...

However, e-cigarette vapor has been proven to contain diacetyl.

While there is no known connection between a diacetyl vape and lung conditions. But if you have any concern, the good news is that it is easy to avoid. Many of the best vape juice companies do not use diacetyl in any of their products.

Diacetyl is a highly toxic chemical compound that is very dangerous to not only people who work with it but also to consumers. Diacetyl exposure can cause permanent, severe, and potentially lethal lung disease in workers and consumers.

Diacetyl is approved (why I have no idea!!!) by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for ingestion, but there has not been an agency-approval for it to be inhaled. Chan School of Public Health found that diacetyl was in 75 percent of the flavored electronic cigarettes and refill liquids they tested.

SOOOOOOOO......what is the moral of this story???????

READ INGREDIENTS!!!!!!

Know what you are putting in your body!!!!!!!

My pens are refillable "e-cigarettes." That is what they are called. BUT they come EMPTY and you choose what you want to fill them with. My suggestion is, and always has been, to fill them with CBD to help with all your ailments!!!! I have never recommended putting anything else in there. CBD benefits.....

That being said, consumers should always always always read the ingredients of anything you eat, drink, smoke, stink in, slide in, put on or whatever you want to do!!!!

The other thing you might not know or even think....

Vitamin E oil might be cause of vaping-linked lung injuries

Investigators at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration discovered the oily chemical, vitamin E acetate, in samples of nearly all the marijuana products used by patients who developed a mysterious lung illness linked to vaping. Experts say it can be dangerous when inhaled, leading to the cough, shortness of breath and chest pain those sickened after vaping.

What's the good news.....

MY CBD HAS NONE OF THOSE BAD THINGS!!!!!!! Thank goodness!!!!!!!

I hope you found all this information helpful. Please feel free to message me with any questions. I am based in CT and there is no ban as of yet.
